Nokia, Treo, MotoQ, vele alternatieven waren in aantocht in de zakelijke markt. Voor de gewone consument was er vooral de simpele Nokia. Ook die had een tal van concurrenten waarbij de meest geavanceerde functie, naast het \u2018bellen\u2019 en SMS-en, bestond uit het spelletje \u2018snake\u2019. Hij presenteerde \u2018zijn\u2019 twee besliscriteria namelijk \u2018usability\u2019 en \u2018smartness\u2019 in een matrix en plaatste snoeihard zijn concurrenten onderin de linkerhoek. De iPhone stond eenzaam als superieure keuze (in het groen) bovenin de rechterhoek. Een meesterzet!<\/p>\n<p>Hiermee trok hij de aandacht weg van andere relevante zaken zoals de prijs of formaat van de telefoon.
