Volgens de bekende lichaamstaalexpert Allan Pease heeft dat namelijk veel effect op hoe je overkomt. Wanneer je je handpalmen (de binnenkant van je hand) naar beneden houdt tijdens het spreken, komt alles wat je zegt veel directiever over. Dat kan helpen als je mensen in een noodsituatie snel in actie wilt laten komen (bijv. bij een brand of ongeluk), maar jij komt als spreker al snel autoritair over. Vaak zullen mensen juist minder naar je luisteren.<\/p>\n<p>Wat vaak beter werkt is om tijdens het spreken je handpalmen juist naar boven te houden. Je komt dan veel geloofwaardiger en vriendelijker over.<\/p>\n<h2>Beter onthouden<\/h2>\n<p>Je handen hebben niet alleen een effect op hoe je overkomt. Volgens Pease blijkt dat mensen vaak meer onthouden van je verhaal wanneer je je handpalmen omhoog houdt.<\/p>\n<p>Misschien ben je sceptisch: hebben mijn handen \u00e9cht zo veel invloed op hoe ik overkom? Ons advies: probeer het eens uit!
